A Day for Syria

The Islamic Society of British Columbia would like to invite you and your family to an Open House on December 27th 2015: A DAY FOR SYRIA! An orientation for the Tri-Cities' residences and officials to be familiar with the new Syrian Refugees. We hope to create a positive image to enable the Canadian society in welcoming the new comers from Syria. We ask the Muslim community who wish to attend to bring a special, home-cooked meal, enough for our visiting guests to the Masjid. EVENT TIME: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM Insha'Allah, we hope to see you all, and thank you, jazakullah'khair.

Annual Movie Night

Masjid Alhidayah & Islamic Cultural Centre will be hosting our Annual Movie Night on Saturday, October 31st 2015. We invite you and your families to come and join us for this special program to be away from the Haram of Halloween Evil Celebrations. We will Insha'Allah be praying Maghrib at 6:00 PM. *Pizza, Pop Corn, and Juice Boxes for $5.00* We hope to see you there Insha'Allah.

Meet the Candidates

We are excited to be hosting a "Meet You Candidates" Q&A this Friday, October 9th, 2015, a free event. This upcoming election can be very frustrating to the average voter. Therefore, we encourage the Muslim community to come together for a better future for our friends, our family, and our Islam. 4 of the major federal political parties will be participating: Sara Norman for Coquitlam-Port Coquitlam MP (NDP), Ron McKinnon (Liberal Party), Brad Nickason - GPC Candidate (Green Party), and Douglas Horne (Conservative Party).
