Join ISNA Canada and the Federation of Muslim (FMW) on Sunday April 15 at 2 pm for the screening of the acclaimed documentary The Judge. The Judge provides rare insight into Shari'a law, an often-misunderstood legal framework for Muslim, told though the eyes of the first woman judge to be appointed to the Middle East's religious courts.

The inspiring documentary feature THE JUDGE, which debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival, follows Kholoud Al-Faqih's unlikely path to become the first woman religious court judge in the Middle East.

The film will be followed by a short panel discussion, moderated by Urz Heer, with Faisal Kutty, lawyer with KSM Law, academic, writer, public speaker and human rights activist, and Sandra Noe, litigation law clerk, who specializes in constitutional and administrative law, and human rights advocate.
