When three year old Alan Kurdi's body was washed up on the shores of Europe, the picture shook the conscience of humanity. It also reminded us that it's not just people drowning, humanity itself is drowning in the mediterinnean.

We have all seen the devastating images and read the horrifying stories, now there is only one thing we can do - help.

Join us for a run or a walk and fundraise for the needy.

Sign up for the #irChallenge Toronto marathon where you register to run on behalf of Islamic Relief Canada and fundraise $500 for the current European Refugee Appeal.

#irChallenges are a unique way to fundraise for the less fortunate because it allows the participants to take part in a daring and fun activity while bringing them together in a good cause. It’s fun but more importantly, it’s rewarding!

Available runs: 10 mile, 5K, and 1K for kids
Registration fee: $20.
registration deadline: September 19th
