Woodlot Park Clean-Up Effort
** Every Saturday in May from 9:00 am – 11:00 am **

Dates are as follows: May 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th

Woodlot Park needs our help! South Brunswick Parks and Recreation needs help clearing the hiking trails. This is a great opportunity to help your community and the environment.
It has been years since the trails were cleaned due to budget constraints. Piles of leaves hide branches and rocks making the trails a danger to walkers.

This is a great opportunity for the Muslim community to “adopt the park”. Each volunteer must bring his/her own rake and/or leaf blower, gloves and wear closed toe shoes. We will be raking the fallen leaves to the side of the trails, picking up any litter we find, removing branches from pathways and, if possible, marking the trails with wooden stakes that we will spray paint.

ISCJ community members, the South Brunswick community, NUI parents, staff and students are invited to participate in this event. It’s amazing what a huge difference we can make if we all work together. There will be no adult supervision provided at this event so, if children wish to participate, parents must stay on-site.

If you are interested in joining us at Woodlot Park please email (see email below) with the number of attendees and the day you wish to volunteer.
