Saturday Iftar Program - June 10th

As per our annual tradition, ISCJ will be hosting Iftar dinners.
On the first four Saturdays (May 27, June 3, June 10 and June 17), food will be catered through local food vendors.
On all other days not advertised above (including Mon-Sun), we encourage members to bring their own dish (freshly prepared only!) and share with the community.
If you are willing to sponsor, the suggested donation is $350 per family towards the cost of each dinner. If paying by check, please add “Iftar 2017” on the memo and drop off at the ISCJ office. If you are interested in donating for an entire Iftar, the cost is $3500.

Sunday, June 4 Iftar will be held at the Ember Banquet, South Brunswick (formerly Chutney Mary) in partnership with Islamic Relief.

Where is the food served?
All food should be limited to the outdoor tent only, no food should be brought inside the Masjid.
What kind of food do we serve?
We usually cater the food through our local vendors who are generous enough to keep the prices very low.
Who sponsors the food?
On Saturdays, generous members like you will sponsor the food. Check or online donation is highly encourged for faster processing of funds.
Who arranges for the food?
Our social activities committee members with help from extended volunteers.
My family and friends would like to host an entire Iftar, can we do this?
Yes, as mentioned earlier, you may pick one of the Saturdays. Please just let us know which saturdays you are willing to host. Contact Socialactivities@iscj.org. External Event Url
