Frequently Asked Questions:
1) I have purchased one ticket for me but can my parent or sibling also join for this event? Should I purchase ticket for him/her?
Answer: Parents or Siblings or Guardians cannot register or pay the $40 fee. For privacy reasons, no parents/siblings/guardians are allowed in the banquet hall where the event will take place. All those accompanying you will have to wait in the lobby or make alternative arrangements.
2) Can I send my brother or sister to represent me at the event?
Answer: No, you have to attend the event in person.
3) I received the form to submit with a picture - is this an obligation to send back? I don't feel comfortable sending a picture to be used nor my information. I just want to attend the event.
Answer: The purpose of receiving the data and picture is so that we can use them for follow-up in the future. We still need the basic personal information from you and if you do not wish to share your data with others, you may indicate that on the form.
4) How many people have registered to attend so far?
Answer: We usually have many candidates registering at the door. So we can not give any number beforehand.
5) Is there any way to know who is attending? I wouldn't want to show up if I do not match anyone's preferences.
Answer: No, we are not structured to know every one's profile and their preferences in advance.
6) What is the format of the event?
Answer: Here is a brief information about the event format.
The attendees are seated in groups of six or eight, depending on the total number. We go through ice breaker sessions and self-introductions where you briefly get to know about the others in a group at that table. We have dinner and later some social interactions may follow.
7) What is the agenda of the event?
