Fiqh of Social Media With Brother Omar Usman
IOST is excited to have a special guest with us on Friday April 28 and Saturday April 29. All brothers and sisters are encouraged to attend and benefit.
Brother Omar Usman will deliver the khutbah at IOST on Friday afternoon. Inshallahm ono Friday night he will be giving the keynote speech at the Binghamton Univeristy MSA Spring Banquet. On Saturday, he will have two special programs. The first will be a #YouthHalaqah for all boys and girls ages 12 and up. He will be speaking on "Dealing With Addictions". It will be held on Saturday after Dhuhr prayer from 1:30 to 2:30 PM.
Lastly, he will then do a family program in which the entire community in invited to come and attend. He will be doing a presentation titled, "Fiqh of Social Media". This is a must attend event for anyone who uses social medai such as Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, and more!
The best part about this event, Its FREE, and there will be refreshments. Babysitting might be provided, but is not confirmed at this time. External Event Url
