“Visit My Mosque“ Sunday 18 February 2018 10 am till 6 pm Inverness Masjid are very humbled to be part of this nationwide annual event once again. As before, we will open our doors with an open heart and a sincere smile to the wider Highlands community. Please come along and meet us and see around our masjid. Pop in between 10am and 6pm and and say hello. Enjoy some food and refreshment, look around our displays, have a tour around the masjid, and ask any questions you may have about Islam or the Muslim community here in the Highlands. If you can’t make it on this day, please remember that our doors are open to you any time you wish to come and visit us.

Amina Muslim Women's Resource Centre and Inverness Masjid, Highland Central Mosque invite brothers to take part in a ninteraction workshop with Shykh Hassan Rabbani exploring the rights and resonsibilities of men within the family. Visit my mosque
The UK’s most northerly mosque will open its doors to the public next month as part of an event offering outsiders an insight into Islam. The doors will open between 10am and 6pm on February 5 to welcome people “of all faiths and none” to explore the architecture and history of the building and the beliefs and practices of those who worship there. It will feature tours, information stands, henna tattoos, free refreshments, children’s activities and a chance to observe prayer.

Young People's Everyday Geopolitics Seminar
Dear all, You are invited to a dissemination event in Inverness for the AHRC funded research project about 'faith, ethnicity, place: young people's everyday geopolitics in Scotland'. At this event Peter Hopkins from Newcastle University and myself will present the findings of the research you participated in during 2014/15. Once again, we are very thankful to you all for your time and contributions to the project, and we have worked hard to ensure the findings reflect the wide range of views you shared with us. We hope you will be interested in attending. The event will take place on Saturday May 7th between 2.00 - 4.30 pm at the Highlands Islamic Education and Community Centre in Inverness.
