FYI Community Educator, Hanan Hashem will be speaking at 3 different events over the course of the weekend. Starting with a youth lecture (13-16) on Friday night! On Saturday, she will lead an older youth halaqa (16-25) and on Saturday evening, she will give a parenting lecture. Friday Night Youth Lecture (13-16) - 8pm Saturday Afternoon Older Youth Halaqa (16-25) - 5pm Saturday Evening Parenting Lecture - 7:30pm Mark your calendars!

Communication Skills for a Happier Marriage
This marriage workshop is designed for married couples to come together to learn how they can enhance their relationship through better listening and communication skills. Many people fall into the routine of life, of parenthood, of being a husband or wife and forget what it is like to truly listen and to truly be heard. Communicating with Teens - The Family & Youth Institute
This event is co hosted by the ICLR and The Family and Youth Institute (FYI) to help communicate and guide our teens in the right way. The Family and Youth Institute is a famous non profit organization focused on family and how to raise kids and teens and how to have a better marriage. Tickets are $45 for couples or $20 per person.

Positive Parenting Skills Based on Qur'an and Sunnah Workshop
The ICLR would like to introduce one of many upcoming workshops over the coming few months!! This event will focus specifically on your parenting skills and how to raise kids in the West! The main attraction of the even will be Dr. Mohamed Beshir who has published many books on this subject! We're all trying our best to raise our kids, and sometimes it's harder to communicate with them as the grow older and transition into teenagers and adults. This workshop will help be a guide and give advice on how to raise kids in this day and age by a professional! It will be a working workshop so their will be 2 way communication as well as excercises so please be prepared to attend and have fun!
