Congregation Beth of Israel is delighted to host the 3rd Syrian Sweets Exchange in the metro Phoenix. Many bakers will be selling scrumptious homemade Syrian sweets and Turkish coffee. All proceeds go directly to the families of the bakers to help them support their families. The ultimate goal is for these refugees to find employment in the baking industry or start their home bakery business. We support all refugees coming to Phoenix and would like to invite your families to this event to show support and solidarity with Syrian members of our community. This will be a great opportunity to foster positive cross-cultural interactions and build understanding and friendship through home baked sweets.
