All ladies and teens accompanied by an adult are welcome. This is a great event for women and girls new to wearing hijab, and those who are considering but want to go for a test drive first. Non-judgemental environment!
*How it works*
Bring in as many gently-used hijabs/Islamic clothing as you'd like to exchange for. It's an even swap. New hijabis do not need to bring anything - just come! We'll also have some hijab tutorials
Any leftover hijabs will be donated to Helping Hand For Relief and Development.
*Potluck*
Please bring a dish to share with serving spoons. We'll provide the plates, utensils, napkins, coffee, tea and water.
HIJAB HELPERS WANTED: Contact Jacki at jshoyeb@gmail.com or Andrea at zendiak11@gmail.com to be one of our hijab stylists and do some style demonstrations. All styles welcome.
