Our friends over at Valley Unitarian Universalist Congregation have shown their support for racial justice in many ways, including hanging a banner reading “BlackLivesMatter.” Their banner unfortunately was vandalized twice, and then stolen. Unwavering in their support, they hung a new banner and it too was vandalized. Standing resolute for what they believe in, in support of the BlackLivesMatter movement, and in solidarity with our African American brothers and sisters, they intend to hang a new banner once more. They have invited community faith congregations around the valley to join in support of the cause by attending a brief ceremony planned to hang the new banner. The ceremony will be short and sweet with faith leaders offering brief remarks/prayers.
