The Islamic Cultural Association was founded by a group of families who hoped to establish an Islamic community that modeled their beliefs and values. In 1987, the community purchased the Franklin Building and moved to its present location. Two years later, it established the prestigious Huda School which has flourished over the years, alhamdulilah. The ICA created a weekend Arabic School, Dar-al Huda. The ICA has continued to grow and expand, offering its members an Islamic environment where they can feel at home and raise their children with hearts at ease. Since its inception, the ICA has held various school and family functions for the occasions that matter most to its members—such as Ramadan and Eid—as well as exciting activities for the whole family.

Ascension of the Believer

The prayer is the second pillar from the pillars of Islam and the most important pillar of Islam after the Shahaadah (testimony) of Faith. The prayer is a link between the servant and his Lord. The Prophet (Sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam) said: “Indeed, when one of you prays, he speaks privately with his Lord.” [Reported by Al-Bukhaari] And Allaah says in the Qudsee Hadeeth: “I have divided the prayer between Myself and My servant into two parts, and My servant will have what he asks for. Shaykh Abdullah will be discussing how to develop Khushoo in Salah. Register for this workshop at: https://miftaah.org/ascension/
