Roots presents Half-A-Date: Feeding the Homeless
This Saturday, December 19 at 10:00 am, the Roots Program presents Half-A-Date: Feeding the Homeless at the Colleyville Masjid, where will be preparing and distributing sack lunches to local homeless people. We will be meeting at the Colleyville Masjid in the womens area at 10:00 am sharp to make the sack lunches, and later distribute them at a nearby location.
The Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) said "Save yourself from hell-fire even by giving half-a-date in chairty." This is a great opportunity for kids, teens, and young professionals of all ages to enage in community building programs and help put an end to hunger. Bring a familly memeber, or a friend, and lets help make a change together!
