Eid-ul-Adha 2017 Mubarak! On behalf of Islamic Association of Mid-Cities we would like to wish you a very happy Eid Mubarak! We Ask Allah (SWT) to make this a blessed, joyous and memorable day for all, Insha'Allah. We ask Him to forgive us all, enter us into His infinite mercy, guide us, and safeguard us. We also ask Allah (SWT) to bring peace and relieve the sufferings of the distressed around the world. Insha'Allah we will have one salah Friday September 1st at 8:30 AM Khutba by Br Imadudeen Please note prayers will be at 8:30 AM sharp. Please note there will be additional parking on the Eid morning at the 99 Cent Only (at the corner of Cheek Sparger & Hwy 26) store on the left side of the store. There will be shuttle services arranged as well.

Half-A-Date: Feeding our neighbors in need

Salam everyone! Join us Saturday, February 27 at 10am, where will be preparing and distributing sack lunches to our local neighbors in need. The Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) said "Save yourself from hell-fire even by giving half-a-date in chairty." This is a great opportunity for kids, teens, and young professionals of all ages to enage in a programs designed to bring our community together by helping our brothers and sisters in need. TCU Emergency Preparedness Fair

Texas Christian University Public Health Nursing Students have partnered with the Colleyville Masjid to empower community members to improve their health and safety. The first step in this partnership is to educate about weather related safety, fire safety, what to do in an emergency, and other ways to keep you and your family safe. The TCU departments have been provided with funding to conduct community outreach programs like this. We are very fortunate that they have chosen our Masjid to build a relationship with, and to empower with important safety information. All you need to do is to show up with friends and family to show your interest & support. You will get to meet with the Colleyville Fire Fighters, and our local Police. There will also be special activities for the children. Food will be provided. We would also appreciate it if some of you are able to volunteer for serving the food, etc. If you're interested in volunteering, please contact Sr. Talat @talatf11@yahoo.com. Its also a good opportunity for students to earn volunteer hours for school.

Roots presents Half-A-Date: Feeding the Homeless

Salam everyone! This Saturday, December 19 at 10:00 am, the Roots Program presents Half-A-Date: Feeding the Homeless at the Colleyville Masjid, where will be preparing and distributing sack lunches to local homeless people. We will be meeting at the Colleyville Masjid in the womens area at 10:00 am sharp to make the sack lunches, and later distribute them at a nearby location. The Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) said "Save yourself from hell-fire even by giving half-a-date in chairty." This is a great opportunity for kids, teens, and young professionals of all ages to enage in community building programs and help put an end to hunger.
