Salaams everyone!

Remember, now we meet Mondays at 7pm at the GW Musallah in Marvin Center Room 406!

Monday, November 27th
Sûrah: 88 Al-Ghashiya {The Overwhelming Event}
Chronological Order: 68
Assigned Verses: Ayahs 1-26

Summary:
Its subject matter is the contrast between the destinies of the Good and the Evil in the Hereafter---on the Day when the true balance will be restored: the Signs of Allah even in this life should remind us of the Day of Account, for Allah is good and just, and His creation is for a just Purpose.

The weekly Qur'an halaqas are open personal reflections of the group, and are facilitated by Chaplain Meraj Allahrakha. Since this is personal reflection, there are no wrong answers or unwelcomed interpretations.

There will be SEVERAL copies of different translations/interpretations of the Quran, but since this will be a weekly occurrence, a personal copy might be useful. Don't have one? We should remedy that!

The goal of this halaqa is to cultivate a personal relationship with the Book of Allah, in a manner that brings it to life more than just a history or textbook. External Event Url
