This week's book club will meet at Phillips Hall, room 417. We will be discussing our meeting arrangements (where & when), the format of discussions (who will be discussing and how), and the number of copies to order for Misquoting Muhammad.

The first book we will be discussing is "Misquoting Muhammad" by Jonathan Brown. The book surveys the complexities surrounding the development of hadith literature, taking readers back in time through Islamic civilization to gain insight of how and why certain controversies occurred.
