Art of Islamic Calligraphy
The Salaam Network and St. Andrew's UCC is offering a talk concerning the art and devotional methods found in the Islamic tradition of calligraphy or 'beautiful handwriting'. From Diwani to Thuluth script, the Islamic world has developed over time a rich history of calligraphy styles and practices with the written word.
