These are words frequently banded about by some politicians and sections of the media to describe war-fleeing asylum seekers, vulnerable refugees and Muslim communities across Europe. But it is the muscle of a minority in the white working-class that racist ideologists have depended upon, to put racism on the street.
So who are those angry white men and women rallying around far right causes? What has driven them to think and act the way they do?
Angry White People is an attempt to understand what lies behind people’s anger and hatred. It documents how individuals from decaying working-class communities are drawn into the politics of despair.
