A common complaint that is heard when addressing the sirah of our beloved Prophet ﷺ is that most literature, lectures, and conferences dedicated to the topic focus primarily on events rather than personality. While it is undoubtedly important to acquaint ourselves with the timeline of dates, incidents, migrations, and battles that took place during the life of the Messenger ﷺ, it is equally necessary if not more so to become familiar with his impeccable character and sublime conduct.

This aspect has traditionally been addressed in the shama’il genre. Drawing inspiration from erudite scholars like Imam al-Tirmidhi, the aim of DarusSalam Foundation’s second annual Sirah Conference, titled Paragon of Perfection, is to reflect on the various roles of Rasulullah ﷺ, drawing lessons that can be applicable in our modern context.

We will examine the Prophet ﷺ in his capacity as:

- A teacher

- A husband and father

- An activist

- A leader

- A counselor

- A businessman

- Most importantly, a slave and worshipper of Allah

“Indeed, within the Prophet ﷺ lies for you an excellent example” (Ahzab 21).

Please join us to learn the example of our Beloved ﷺ and how it can serve as a guiding light for all aspects of our own lives.

Please share this event with friends & family.
