GBM: "Centering the Black Muslim Narrative"
Please join us this week for our General Body Meeting. We will be discussing the history of Black Muslims in the U.S, and their role in the formation of this country. In addition we will cover the current narrative of Muslims and the exclusion of Black Muslims as a result of it.
Leading this event is Imam Abdul-Waheed, who has been active in the Muslim Community for the past 40 years, who has served as a Chaplain in State and Federal correctional institutions, and is currently the Interim Imam at the Center for Muslim Life at Duke University.
