The 2008 Global Financial Crisis, the worst since the Great Depression, fundamentally reshaped our economy. From the film "The Big Short" to the stump speeches of every major Presidential candidate, it seems that we cannot stop talking about (and trying to make sense of) this generation-defining event. Our speaker will focus on the causes of the '08 financial crisis and how it impacts our politics and pocketbooks eight years later. Lev Moscow has taught International Political Economy at the Beacon school for ten years, as well as courses on the history of the global economy at Florence University of the Arts in Italy.
