The Muslim Mix with The Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam, The American Jewish Committee (AJC), and Faith Alliance of Metro Atlanta cordially invite you to join the Atlanta Muslim community and our fellow faith communities during the Holy Month of Ramadan for a rich evening of dialogue, fellowship, and understanding as we partake in a delightful fast-breaking dinner (Iftar) and an all around cultural experience! We are inviting members of all faith groups to come and learn more about the Islamic Faith and this Holiday. Please RSVP if you, your family, and friends plan to attend.
There will be a program and dialogue from 7:00-8:30 followed by the breaking of the fast, prayer, and the iftar dinner (at sunset). You will learn the core beliefs of Muslims and their practices and all about the Month of Ramadan, its orgin and fasting. There will be an opportunity for Questions and Answers during the program. If you already know what you would like to ask during the program please submit your question(s) ahead of time to themuslimmix@gmail.com to ensure your question will be heard.
Dress Code: There is no particular dress code for guests. However, we encourage all guests/attendees to observe modest dress such as shorts and skirts worn below the knees and no sleeveless and/or chest bearing tops.
