Located in the historic East Atlanta Community, the Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam is the largest and oldest Islamic community in Metro Atlanta. We are a community of believers adhering to the Qur?an and the life traditions of Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessing Be Upon Him). We are in association with the leadership and vision of Imam W. Deen Mohammed (1933 ? 2008, may Allah be pleased with him). The Atlanta Masjid is blessed to be supported by four generations of Muslims who are fully engaged residents of Georgia and the United States of America. Our community life is expressed through member activities in areas such as education, entrepreneurship, civic involvement, interfaith, and international relations. Our masjid is open for the five daily prayers, Jumuah, and Sunday taleem. We offer classes in Islamic and Arabic studies for children and adults.

32nd Annual Sealed Nectar Fashion Show

As Salaamu Alaikum! Greetings of Peace Dear Beloved Sister, “You are a beautiful woman”, created excellent inside and out. Can you believe that we are celebrating our 32nd show? Our community began showing the world in the early 80’s, that Muslim women can be adorned with beautiful garments, remain modest, and be proud of who they are. We began a legacy then, and we are keeping it alive. We would like to extend a personal invitation to you and your community to join us May 4 through May 6, 2018. The Atlanta Masjid’s fashion show 2018 theme is “Sealed Nectar Project Runway”. Our theme embodies the creative spirit of our designers and the lifestyle that our women live and represent to the world. Because our fashion show has expanded to being a vessel for cross-generational exchange, we have some special events that will reflect these various generations. We remain committed to offering knowledge regarding modesty, a space for sisterly love, and a cultivation of womanhood. Over the years, we’ve made statements in fashion from across the world and will continue to do so. Tickets for the 32nd Annual Sealed Nectar Fashion Show, may be purchased by visiting www.sealednectarfashionshow.com. Be sure to peruse over all of the pages for a schedule of events and prices for the weekend. Please hurry because tickets are limited this year!
