Join us for an evening with Stanford University Professor of Classical Arabic Literature, Alexander Key, as he discusses his book “Language Between God and the Poets.” Professor Key received his Ph. D in Arabic and Islamic Studies from the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilization at Harvard University. He has authored a number of articles on aspects of Classical Arabic literature and culture, and he teaches a survey of the canon of Arabic poetry from before Islam to the present day, as well as an undergraduate course on the “ethics of Jihad.” External Event Url
