• Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “If the Resurrection were established upon one of you while he has in his hand a sapling, then let him plant it.” - Al-Albani
• "If a Muslim plants a tree or sows seeds, and then a bird, or a person or an animal eats from it, it is regarded as a charitable gift (sadaqah) for him." - Imam Bukhari
We invite everyone around the country to participate in this campaign between April 28 and May 14, 2017 and create awareness for the environment so we can work together to protect it.
Considering current events, such as the dismantling of the work of Environmental Protection Agency, the rapid rise and increase of global warming, and the growth of consumption culture, it is our responsibility as Muslims to raise our voices together and raise awareness.
Along with having halaqahs, it is encouraged to participate in community events such as planting flowers at the masjid, local trash cleanups, and spreading awareness on social media. External Event Url
