Imam Khalid Griggs is the Chairman for the ICNA Council of social justice, Associate Chaplain of Muslim Life at Wake Forest University, Imam of the Community Mosque in Winston Salem, North Carolina, and is an integral member of various other local civil rights organizations in North Carolina.

He has spent his entire life as a civil rights activist and a proponent of social justice along with being the Imam of his community for over 25 years.
