The daily prayer is the most important and central practice of a Muslim's life. From the prayer, the rest of our religious progress begins. That is why learning how to prepare for and perform the prayer is an obligation upon every Muslim. This workshop will focus on the form and the meaning of the prayer by examining both its legal and spiritual dimensions and will provide participants all they need to start praying. It will cover the dimensions of preparing for prayer through ritual purification, how to perform the prayer itself including the invocations and movements, as well as the spiritual meanings behind each of the positions.

Please note, there is an additional hour added to the workshop to help attendees with memorization of prayer passages. If you have already memorized the passages, it is optional to attend.
