Join meditation instructor and psychotherapist Micah Anderson for Ta'leef's first Digital Detox Daylong meditation retreat.

In today’s world mindlessness is increasingly running rampant; our days are filled with multi-tasking, technology—all with a "get it done" attitude—which can lead to the sense that we are floating through life on auto-pilot rather than being actively engaged in what is happening. This has driven us to be dislocated from ourselves, our emotions and feelings, and it has enforced an inability to communicate with others properly, despite all the technological advances that would like to tell us otherwise.

This 6-hour daylong will offer its participants to unplug for the day, allowing space to slow down, practice self-awareness, and take a good look at our relationship with ourselves and technology.

—Learn mindful grounding techniques in times of stress,
—Set boundaries around use of technology,
—Understand how to build a simple, yet effective self-care regimen

Meditation sessions will take place throughout the day, as well as silent journaling, group sharing and reflection, and didactic sessions on how to stay whole in an increasingly fragmented world.

No phones, screens, social networking, or internet will be allowed at this event. This daylong does require full attendance, and participation. Latecomers will be asked to wait until the current session is over to enter the main hall.

By disconnecting from technology, we can learn how to reconnect with ourselves. Please join us for this unique opportunity!
