Imam Ghazzali’s Ihya Ulūm ad-Dīn, The Revival of the Religious Sciences, is amongst the most important scholarly works about Islam – its Tradition, Laws, Belief and Spiritual Excellence. The magnum opus consists of 40 books, each requiring a formal study of its own, divided into four quarters. It is a masterpiece concerning human existence, from the cradle to grave, and beyond.
