The topocentric New Moon Conjunction for the lunar month of Shawwal will occur on Thursday, the 16th of July 2015, at 11:26 AEST (11.26am Sydney time).

The correct date to observe the crescent of Shawwal is upon sunset of Thursday, the 16th of July, 2015.

Everyone is invited to come and participate in fulfilling the Prophetic tradition of crescent sighting to establish the lunar month of Shawwal1436. It will be held at Peace Park in Ashbury located on Trevenar Street.

Please bring a plate of food or snacks to share with everyone to break our fast with Insha'Allah. We will have the opportunity to pray maghrib together onsite.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to sunset.
