Rescheduled: The Great Event: Surat al-Waqi'a
Surat al-Waqi`ah is one of the most beloved and most recited Suras of the Qur’an. This is because of the sense of urgency and opportunity it conveys. Shaykh Faraz Rabbani will cover a thematic study of this Sura, its explanation (tafsir), key lessons, and how to nurture one’s relationship with Allah through deepening one’s understanding and relationship with this great Sura.
It revolves around the Day of Judgment and the different levels of people--those close to Allah; the People of the Right Hand; and the People of the Left Hand--in their reckoning and eternal stations.
The Sura also reminds of signs of Allah’s Oneness and Power; the reality of Resurrection and Hereafter; the stars as great signs of Allah; and the reality and consequences of Death.
