The topocentric New Moon Conjunction for the lunar month of Ramadhan will occur on Wednesday, the 17th of June 2015, at 00:02 AEST (12.02am Sydney time).

The correct date to observe the crescent of Ramadhan is upon sunset of Wednesday, the 17th of June, 2015.

Everyone is invited to come and participate in fulfilling the Prophetic tradition of crescent sighting to establish the lunar month of Ramadhan 1436. It will be held at Peace Park in Ashbury located on Trevenar Street.

We will have the opportunity to pray maghrib together onsite as well as to share a plate of food.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to sunset.
