American Islamic College invites Yvonne Maffei of My Halal Kitchen to discuss her journey of creating the first halal cookbook in the US that explains the how and why of eating halal and living a conscious, holisitc lifestyle that anyone can appreciate and embrace. Director of Development and Communications at American Islamic College, Arshia Ali-Khan, will interview Yvonne on a live stage platform to ask the quesitons most readers and fans have been asking- eveyrthing from cooking-related questions to how she tested recipes for her book to the journey she took to get published.
