Be a part of the first annual IRUSA collection drive to provide essential items for women and children who are survivors of domestic violence. Let’s show our beloved sisters and these young children the love and support they need!
Drop-off or mail in your contribution (see below for a complete list) to our headquarter office: Islamic Relief USA, ATT: Safe Families Supply Drive, 3655 Wheeler Ave, Alexandria, VA 22304. ALL MATERIALS SHOULD BE DELIVERED TO IRUSA HEADQUARTERS BY OCT. 31, 2014.
The items will be sent to DC-area shelters.
If the items you provide are new, please send in your receipts with your name and email address or phone number, and we can insha’Allah provide you with a receipt for your contribution.
List of needed supplies:
Feminine hygiene products (new only)
Soap for hand and/or body (new only)
Hand sanitizer (new only)
Adult or children’s Tylenol (new only)
Advil (new only)
Over the counter flu or cold medicine (new only)
Over the counter upset-stomach medicine (new only)
Toothpaste, floss and/or toothbrushes (new only)
Shampoo and/or conditioner (new only)
Deodorant (new only)
Hair brushes and/or combs (new only)
Women’s clothing: blouses, shirts, pants, pajamas (new or gently used)
Women’s undergarments: bras, underwear (new only)
Children’s clothing: shirts, pants, socks, sweatpants, sweatshirts, pajamas (new or gently used)
Children’s undergarments: undershirts, underwear (new only)
Baby clothes (new or gently used)
Baby items: diapers, baby wipes, formula (new only)
Household items: sheets, mattress pads, towels (new or gently used)
