Disaster Assistance Response Team Training in CA: Disaster Assessment & First Aid
DART has extended its support to help in relief efforts all over the United States. In providing volunteers with vital instruction in disaster assessment, shelter fundamentals, first aid, and more, IRUSA has been able to readily and confidently deploy its volunteers to the disaster scene.
DART's October 26 training session, from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm, will offer two courses: Islamic Relief Casework and CPR/First Aid. When completed, volunteers will receive a Red Cross CPR/First Aid Certification. Training will take place at the Islamic Center of Irvine (ICOI) and is open to anyone 18 years or older.
